The municipality of Breda is holding ‘research weeks’ between the 10th of April to the 21st of April to investigate traffic behavior in the city. With the campaign ‘Leave your traces for Breda’ and the Positive Drive app, the municipality is going to track anonymous traffic patterns of participants to be able to better plan the public space in Breda. Breda wants the students to participate in these research weeks.

Why are so many cyclists driving a car in German cities? Because it is often a better alternative! NHTV cooperates with the University of Wuppertal on cycling improvement plans for 4 German cities. Two students from the ISD programme, Sietse Touker and Lisette Kompagne, have developed a brochure with actions to stimulate cycling in Wuppertal. On Friday 23 October last, eleven professionals from Oman received an official certificate from the Academy of Urban Development, Logistics and Mobility of NHTV Breda and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During four weeks in the month of October, the academy gave an intensive logistics course to several management officials from Oman. The aim is for them to become initiators of logistics developments in their country.
